Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project.

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

While I can appreciate your enthusiasm; this build is regulated to the reproduction of a movie prop and have no intentions to expand R&D into the realm of making an item of sci-fi into reality. I also ask that you cease asking me, both through here and in PM's, to modify the 3D models to make them shoot "fer real."

Thanks and have a cheerful day. :):thumbsup

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

Guys another question :) the zip file contains the compartment for the green leds?
Because i've seen another file posted by epilepticsquirl few pages after the first post which contains the 3d model modified, including the green parts :)

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

ops, i didn't see it xD sorry, stupid question...so if i understood, i have to upload these files to Shapeways, right?

- Base
- Bezel
- Face
- Fluid Cartridge
- Fluid Meter
- Nozzle

or am i wrong?

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

If you're modifying the models yourself, you can upload those to Shapeways. Otherwise, follow the links in the junkyard post to purchase the pieces already on SW.

If you know the creator of the thread you can usually find it through their profile.
First Click on their name, a small dropdown box will appear. Click "View Public Profile." Then you'll see four tabs on their profile page. You need to click "Statistics" and then "Find all threads started by (members name)." Then all you have to do is look for a junkyard thread that has what you are looking for.

Thanks to AerialInk an Kevin Gosset, you've been so kind :)
I'm finally in!!

Re: Spiderman web shooter: A collaborative project. Now with wiring diagrams!

So, guys, is anyone Italian here? Because i'm ordering the pieces from Italy and maybe this will cost me much more than some of you :\ what do you think? It's better to exclude shapeways and go with some Italian companies? Or i just have to close my eyes and pay? Any idea is really appreciated!

Also, i notice that the shooter-face is right and left, so once i order the different faces, i don't have to change the other pieces from right to left, right? I just have to order twice every pieces except the shooter faces, am i right?

EDIT: i made the Checkout right now: a pair of shooter would cost me 61.90 Euros xD
I'm waiting to confirm the payment, i have to get payment first.
Meanwhile, i wait for your opinions :)

Just wanted to show everyone the Kelly Green RIT Dye.
If the center lense is Red?
And the fluid indicator is Green...

Does that mean you only need white lights?

EDIT: Eh, Im thinking the colored lights will make it pop more.

Bingo chips coming in today!

Hi! Did you just painted the fluid indicator with green? :)
