For Sale is a 1/48th scale replica of the Cloud Car as seen in the iconic concept illustration for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back from artist Ralph McQuarrie. This Cloud Car replica adds in elements from the various stages of concept art used to help with the final design of this unique ship. The concept art for this ship had so many amazing details and variations that I replicated in this model. The model kit consists of 9 3D printed resin parts (one piece body, seats x2, rear flaps x2, rear engine detail x2). A hole in the bottom was designed to accommodate a 6.5mm clear stand (not included). This impressive model measures approx 6”x6” when assembled. Some light sanding may be needed prior to painting.
