Does anyone here wish they made a anakin graflex? like a lot of fans have

Too bad we didn’t get to see his ignited LED saber from the Order 66 flashback scenes in the Jedi temple. I wonder if they made a new one, used an off-the-shelf 3rd party, or had access to a Rey EP7/8 hilt.

It’s funny how after all these years since 77, Anakin's lightsaber finally looks how it does (for the most part) when Luke gets it.

I'd like the reverse... a skinnyflex but with a sized down clamp, kobold, glass eye, and red button.

This is exactly why I say the graflex was switched out, you can see the knurling in the clamp good

It could be a diamond-pattern sticker, like the SRS. Since they used a stock MR in the dessert box scene I’d think they used the same saber for both scenes but who knows. I’d love a better look at it to see what’s going on.

I made screenshots of the 4k HDR video but even tho I saw the video with correct colors, of course the screenshot was messed up because of HDR. I used some color correction but it is not perfect. Here, I post them anyways, might be useful.

looks like they removed the d ring, and machined a cap for the end.. you can see the gauge of the metal sticks above the edge of the flash tube

I don't think it has been switched out. The "Skinnyflex" has the "control box" on the other side. The "bunny ears" would point away from us, and I would expect to see that big gold button on the "control box" to catch that sun light.

Yep that's what I'm referring to as well.
But facing the wrong way. We should see the big copper-y button and sync ports. Unless they flipped the location of the covertec and the control box.

I think it's the same graflex as before,it's just reflecting light differently and looking like the rots clamp in that shot.

Based on those nice big clean screencaps from onderon (Thanks !!) I think every time we see the Anakin saber it's a Master Replicas ANH Luke Graflex with the d-ring removed, a covertec added, and a disk covering the Graflex endcap.
