Is there a thread or article that calls out said fraudsters?perpetrators of the 2021 fraud to pull something l
Did anyone keep a record of what went to Bidder 7101, or corresponding bidders on other major items? I certainly grew tired of hearing that bidder number...And I was in Dallas on Tuesday to look at items I wanted to bid on. Mr 7101 took it all though.
Yes.Over at f@ceb00k they’re claiming a missing model of the Enterprise mysteriously showed up. Think it’s legit ???
There is an extensive thread in the general modeling subforum already in progress.Over at f@ceb00k they’re claiming a missing model of the Enterprise mysteriously showed up. Think it’s legit ???
Don't look at me- I didn't make that.
I've been told that since it's from the Rugg family collection that there's no way it can be a fake.....Looks legit to me, it's obviously one of the 286 phasers made for the show.
It's definitely a fake.... It's kind of sad the current owner has been fooled... He was apparently told it was a B&W that lost the P1 and the owner before him claimed to replace the P1 and covert it to the BGB.....So is legit or not?
IF they are from the Jein collection then they have the best chance of being real. I've poked enough holes in the owners story about this phaser that he blocked me on FB after bringing up some of the simple known facts.I thought that I could get another pair of eyes to check.
Should I even contemplate how many Jein 's props are not legitimate?
I doubt he collected fakes. I know I wouldn't buy a replica advertised as the real deal even IF I could afford it...I have no doubt that, like many of us, Mr. Jein collected replicas and fakes just to collect them, and not necessarily because he thought they were real.
