Honestly this printer just keeps impressing! Here is the old sight wheel .4mm nozzle print on the left compared to the .2mm nozzle print on the right. I’m kind floored. This almost resin level quality in an FDM machine..

Here’s a little look at how I did this scope dial so it can not only be FDM printed but also inline and accurate in its recreation. Everything in this first pic including the screws are designed up and printed. I couldn’t find real screws small enough to make this work otherwise. But regardless everything comes together and functions as intended..

Thanks! I honestly should probably cut back on picking up every one of these that I find, but I couldn't help myself at that price lol

And I'm thinking I might be able to fix that discoloring with a bit of polishing wax, but even if I can't then I don't mind either keeping it as-is or redoing the finish with Blue Wonder. Short barrel MGCs feel like ideal candidates for a Hero build too, which is also a plus in my books.

Probably a little to short for a GK but definitely a Hero conversion would work perfectly. Nice score!

Thanks! I'll definitely figure out something good for it longterm. Perhaps one of the ESB blasters might be a good candidate for it, if the barrel length is cooperative?

Also on another note, have a couple of sneak peeks of something long awaited, courtesy of the big man Scott!

Don't forget to stick the sight greeblie on with bubblegum like the original prop must have been!

Such a great idea with the magnets, glad Scott thought this up for his commissions. Once I saw that trick he came up with I’ve used it on a lot of other projects.

Oh yeah, there was a point where I was drilling into denixes and glueing a disc magnet flush with the surface to keep the sight down lol
