keep an eye out for this thread or the actual dome light thread to not miss them, you want quite a bit of those and I'm afraid there won't be enough again for everyone. i'm trying my best!
for the milenium falcon, there are white lights as well visible in some shots, I'll be releasing white lights for the first time for this run :)
cheers

Looking for help locating the grey rectangular tape strips, it’s all I need now to complete my build.
sorry, I forgot to answer yesterday!
I now supply 50mmx6mm white stickers in my kits for those. I think they are accurate and i don't think they used reflective or grey tape for those.
If you are not in a hurry and order something else from my website eventually, let me know and I'll add those to your package, no worries :)

If not, I hope knowing the size helps a bit at least, I bought mine on amazon, I guess you should find some as well even though we are not in the same country.
cheers

Hi there,

Just a heads up that the Detention center camera kits are finally coming back this week!

This will be my final and best version i think. Because I am super busy, I decided to have the back plate laser cut out of black acrylic instead of making them myself out of raw black delrin. This means the plates will be shiny and come protected by a plastic sheet on both side. The acrylic is also stronger than the delrin plates, so this should be a win/win.

Antennas are basically the same as before, but I also decided to assemble everything with set screws instead of pressure fit like I did before as it was too time consuming. I had a whole period of always pressure fitting everything but there is a lot of hit and miss and it's really time consuming to do. Screws are working well for this! and you can disassemble them if you want I guess...
Same price as before, 145€ + shipping.

antennas are finished, I'm finishing the plates these days. Still need to route the recesses for the back of the viewers in those.

Hi there :)

after 10 months, the Death Star camera kits are finally back in stock! grab them while they are here!

Like I explained above, this is a new version, my final and best version i think, the back plate is now laser cut from black acrylic. it comes with a protective plastic sheet on each side and is a bit sturdier than the previous Delrin version too.

Hum! I expected the acrylic was going to be troublesome to rout for the needed recesses for the back of the Viewers and it was actually hell... I spent 20 minutes on the first plate doing them the same way I was doing before, making a 7mm deep pocket for each viewer. it was extremely hard, and when I finally unclamped the plate, the back of each pocket was completely melted. no go...
so, I changed a bit the technique for that run, there is a first deep hole with a 25mm drill bit, then a shallow pocket with the router. it's not necessarily sexy, but it is hidden and is functional as well, and... not melted!

another small change, you'll notice below the VESA 100x100 mounting holes are now doubled. They were initially offseted on my previous runs, to be screen-accurate. I have added a second set of holes that are centered on the plate if people prefer to mount them that way. Remember, the holes are not accessible anymore once the viewers are assembled! if you want to use those holes, put the screws and nuts in there first so they are accessible from the back later on.

the plates are shiny when you remove the protective sheets. if you don't want that, i'm sure a quick rub with steel wool will give a nice brushed look.

there you go, I hope people will enjoy their kits, it's a really fun prop :)
one thing crossed from the to do list, 12 more to go!
cheers all

Thank you for the orders last night!
Those are slightly annoying to pack, so I only had the time to ship the first order today before it was too late. That means all the rest will be shipped on Monday, sorry!
cheers all
