Yes, it's not really flat, it just looks that way because the radius is a little too big and even the machinist picked up on that. he already changed the code for that detail.

I just wanted to clarify that those details will only be present on the ROTJ version

I think the “horseshoe” milled line on the bottom of the magazine plate need to be deeper and slightly wider. I think I get to much fill in when the paint is applied

So is the Denix in this photo painted, vs. blued?
