Hey, for the guys who have the first shipment, I have a question about the yoke.

How flexible is it?
Is it hard to get in and out of?
Is it at risk of cracking?

Thanks in advance for the feedback. One of the guys in my garrison was curious. He has a Jimmy kit that has cracked a lot

How flexible is it? Very!
Is it hard to get in and out of? No just pop it over your head and slide in and out. Easy when you get the hang of it.
Is it at risk of cracking? No.
Is it as good as plot armour? No, we are Stormtroopers we don't have plot armour.

Youre welcome Shawn, trying to keep everyone completely up to date! I’ll be updating the thread here - tomorrow/Wednesday, I know I’ve told a few of you but for those who don’t know we’ve tweaked the ab plate to make it a little taller. Keep an eye out for pics here

Just was minor adjustment from what pm said. 4 day delay so very minor. I'll let him chime in before I get spanked and reported to admins again lol

Hey Al,

yes there’s been a few days delay from this, everyone directly effected by this (next people in line) were PM’d as I’d decided to do it and thankfully everyone agreed it was worth a few day delay.

If you look at our Ab plate mk1 you’ll notice the top is cut flat, which when test fitting is fine when you’re stood still after a while I noticed moving around in it, stretching upright etc. sometimes allowed the chest plate to over step the ab in the centre. A wardrobe malfunction, which is a troopers nightmare right when it happens in a photo ?

So it’s now slightly taller and more importantly has a curved top, I’m de-moulding the first one today so I will be posting photos to show the comparison between the old and new and better explain the upgrade!

The problem And solution

seems obvious in hindsight that it should be curved but hey...

As as I say when stood up straight and still it fitted great But especially for anyone taller moving around in it could cause a malfunction. It is much improved now and equally comfortable for shorter troopers too! Thank you

Oh also for anyone interested February’s place on the run is Sold - one more place will be opened next month.

Thank you all -keep an eye out next guys on the run I will PM you to confirm your shipping status’ as and when the armor is ready.

It has a texture from the fiberglass cloth. I would say it is semi-fi wished? It is smooth enough that is shouldn'
Snag any clothing, though, and it is smooth enough that you could wear the armor against your skin and not be uncomfortable commando trooper

For those of you with armor in question on the inside of the armor. Is it smooth and finished or jagged needing finished?

Snag any clothing, though, and it is smooth enough that you could wear the armor against your skin and not be uncomfortable commando trooper

What I recommend with anything fiberglass would be to spray the inside or give it a good sanding just in case. Never know, and don't need something rubbing through because a few glass hairs were poking. Never had an issue with my undersuit and almost been a year.
