A screw, no, but they did traditionally have metal caps for mekugi, so I would consider replacing it with one of those.
From what I've heard and seen, Daryl forced himself down the wrong path.

This is an unfortunate turn of events. I have never seen someone report to a company an RPF run. This board is for fans to get their desired screen accurate pieces not readily available for purchase and since NO ONE currently holds the license to produce this sword I don’t see the problem. It amazes me that here you can do runs of items seen in Marvel,DC, Star Wars, Star Trek etc without any issues for the most part but you do one sword from a dead franchise someone feels the need to be the kill joy. I wonder why….do they have ulterior motives? Perhaps a financial motivation? Or maybe they were an anal birth? I’m not sure but it’s unfortunate for the fans who wanted one of these. It amazes me how this franchise regularly abuses its fans either by making horrible movies like the source or by denying fans the swords/props they desire. Either way the list of suspects is short.

Yes, someone contacted Davis/Panzer. Bad form. A small run has no significant effect on the property, but some folks love being a kill joy. I suspect it was someone who has access to an H1 already, and doesn't want others to have that same privilege. I'll leave my suspicions at that.
I can sculpt a head on a Marto if I have to, but I've got about a hundred projects already underway, and at this point in my life I'm more than happy to just shell out the cash for certain items instead of trying to make everything myself. Ah well.

in 2016 the state of texas ordered him to cease operations and involuntarily closed his LLC.
He still does business, and employs people out of state to complete orders.
