Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

The wife and I watch SNW but not necessarily when an episode drops. We catch up a bit later. There been some good ones, mediocre ones, and a couple of WTF’s, but when it comes to the musical episode I will absolutely pretend it doesn’t exist. I’m not subjecting either of us to that horror show. Nope nope nope.

You know, I was wrong in my thinking…

Star Trek HAS been presented as a musical before…complete with both singing and choreography.

Who could forget “Ah…ahaha…bit-ter dregs”?

And then we can finally get to this:

In case you are like Kirk, and you need your pain:

Still, thankfully, not a all singing and dancing episode.
BTW: the guy in that pic is the same actor who played Marshall Murdock (***hole Mission commander at base) in Rambo: First Blood Part II (Charles Napier):

To be fair, what else was there for him to play after that appearance?
I just checked his credits on the all knowing IMDB. He had 205 acting credits, with Star Trek being on the first. So the answer is, apparently, a whole lot! Seems like he had a pretty good, long career, as a working actor.

I’m rather surprised by that, given his huge body of work. STAR TREK, DS9, THE BLUES BROTHERS, BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, being the voice of Lou Ferrigno’s Hulk (after Ted Cassidy died), and on and on.
Admittedly, I never knew he did the Hulk's voice in the Ferrigno series (always liked the music for the intro and outro though!)
