STAR WARS - Skeleton Crew props & costume

I seem to recall the later versions of this type flashlight (going way back to my youth here) replaced the ribbed metal centers with plastic tubing. Maybe in the 70's sometime? I think the all-chrome ones were 60's vintage and already beat up when I was a kid.

I spotted this white magic cube style among kids belongings...

What is going on with the yellow flash light?

Yellow silicone sleeve? The edge cap is weird.. Graflex d ring on the bottom?

Found this one, that matches shape, amount of buttons, but not the color. Screen used appears to be white. It is unbranded as far as I know. Called

Practise Math Educational Key Board

PS: Screen used was modified/painted for sure

If the “action figures” turn out to be modified tin soldiers (I suspect so, because Reasons), these were guys at attention with swords, bayonet rifles, or flags. What’s distinct is that they’re left-handed (less common but not unheard of), which could narrow the search considerably, if they’re indeed built on found objects. (example image is common right-handed)

That is for sure coated with something. Maybe epoxy, but that is not the colored ones I remember, and clearly "coated" with something.

Re: the d-ring, if you run with the.rebel.agent's suggestion of the Eveready Captain, they have a built in d-ring. If you start to dig, saddle up for the vintage flashlight rabbit hole. It's a lot. You know how these people are that get super interested in some specific vintage item... they can be real weirdos I hear.

Looks like they are "at attention" like this one:

The trouble in tracking down the correct soldier (if they used a found part, as pburgess stated above) is to find one with the legs apart. For most, the legs are together: most of the time standing at attention requires the legs to be together (as far as I know), and it's easier to sculpt and cast.
