:eek is all I can muster at the moment!
I suck at scribing lines. Can you give some pointers since yours look flawless?
No problem rule #1:lol Scribing is all learned technique so you have to practice.
There are a bunch of scribing tools available I use the cheapest!!:lol
Exacto knife and blade!:lol I take the blade and just brake off the point,
so save the old ones that loose the tips. When I use the knife to scribe I
pull it across the plastic with the cutting edge facing "UP":thumbsup.
If I am scribing into thicker plastic 2mm-3mm I use the bigger bodied knife
#2 I think? It is much stronger than the thinner bodied knife.
Practice on some flat scrap draw out some lines, use a straight edge
and begin. You don't have to go for the scribing technique on your first pass, if you wish you can use the cutting edge of the knife and open the lines first.
Then go ahead and scribe them. Just make sure even if you opened them up first to still keep the straight edge along side the line while scribing.
Starting out slow and adding pressure is really the key to scribing,
even more so when you graduate to scribing right out of the box,
this means your not pre-opening the lines with the knife. I don't open the lines much more I can go for the most part with the scribing technique first.
When you get comfortable with this it will save you a lot more time!!

Scribing on curved surfaces: For this I use some thick evergreen strip
and tape it down on my line, this allows for good contour. For this I never open with the knife blade first, because it can move the taped strip around.
You have to make the first 5 to 6 passes ultra light, although the tape holds it secure it's not as secure as when you scribed with a ruler on a flat surface.
I make little reference lines where I am supposed to end the scribing,
it's very easy to over shoot the panel......THAT SUCKS!!:angry:thumbsdown
I can't tell you anymore thats all I know, you need to practice just remember "Practice does not make perfect":lol "Perfect practice makes perfect." If you practice something all day and your doing it wrong........
well you just reinforced it the "WRONG" way!!
