If it is a stunt suit, I guess it just goes to show that SOME things just look better with CGI help.
Not really, mostly a matter of looking better when worn by someone of the right height and build and when put on correctly. You can have the best made, most screen accurate costume/armor in the world but you put in on somebody that's too short/tall and thin/thick for it and put it on the wrong way it's going to look bad too.
In fact, a lady that was there with the kid, replied to my insults on facebook saying: "MY KID LOVED IT, so what was so bad about it?" Dark is right, we are a little more perfectionists eheheeh. Still, get a freaking 6.2 dude and just slap him inside that armor :wacko
Oh ya I totally get that. I more meant the color of the red rubber in contrast to the hard parts. Not to mention the body suit.
I was clicking through the pics and I was so disgusted that I almost closed the window... good thing I didn't because clearly the focus shifted from iron man to something else. :love

oh well. we can't blame her. she probably hasn't seen this forum yet. lol. And we have to remember - to the NORMAL people - seeing something like that is enough. they don't care about details much except that they recognize it because of its features and be able to get their pictures taken with it. Sometimes they just have their pictures taken and don't even know who the charcters are. LOL.
I remember, my partner and I were walking in the mall and we heard some call us - (for him) Power Ranger, Transformer, Spiderman, Zaido. :lol (for me) Storm, X-men. I don't mind what they call me because Black Widow isn't really a mainstream character except for the comic addicts and teh geeks but Ironman? LOL.
That's true but even the uninitiated should be able to recognize that there's something just not quite right with that costume. I would hope that all of the adults (and some of the more observant kids) recognized how oddly proportioned the costume looked.
I can totally relate to that. I'm a big Stargate costumer and I can't tell you how many times people have thought my friends & I were G.I. Joe, Army people, SWAT and just about everything in between.
Don't even start a topic about being mis-called.
When I used to go around in malls for events as Anakin or 300, they called me ANYTHING but my character...so...300 is the gladiator, anakin with the rob was a monk and stuff like that. Also, you hear all the time: look, star trek ahahahhaha.
But that was few years ago when I was in the SW universe. Then I just dropped it. Lost interest and now I kinda have a reject for it.
