I didn't see Jon's wolf during his journey to the Wall. Did they not emphasize it, or was it assumed to be off hunting away from the humans?

I think you're thinking of Sean Pertwee who literally dies in EVERY film if he isn't already dead at the start of it.
This week was interesting (don't worry -- no spoilers here). I'm interested to see how fast they're progressing the story in some points, and how slowly other points are to develop.
I'm also LOVING the casting.
James Cosmo as Jeor "The Old Bear" Mormont
Aiden Gillen as Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish
Julian Glover as Maestyr Pycelle
Terrific cast. It's nice to see they're taking this show seriously. Now if only Martin would FINISH THE DAMN SERIES....
Slight spoiler, so putting it behind the wall
How about Syrio, and Arya's first dancing lesson?! So perfect. Syrio isn't as described in the book, but is still exactly how I pictured him somehow. And the girl playing Arya is a great little actress...she holds her own and more in every scene she's appeared in.
******!!!!!1 i found it too difficult to follow!!!!!may be i am too dumb!!!!!lol
I've only read the first book in the series, but here's my advice:
Don't get too attached to ANYONE or ANYTHING. Nobody is safe.
Found some nice propage and jewelry shots on this site:
Behind The Scenes - Winter Is Coming
I read something very interesting about Harry Lloyd- the actor that plays Viserys Targaryen- he's the great great great grandson of Charles Dickens. (I just thought that was kewl! )
Waiting on tonights ep. now..:thumbsup
I've not read any of the books but I'm really enjoying watching the series. The whole political scheming is reminding me heavily of the Wars of the Roses in England.
House of Lannister (Lancaster)
House of Stark (York)
It's not a direct fantasy version but it's nice to see a fantasy TV series that's moved on from the "evil overlord sits on the throne and must be overthrown by a band of plucky adventurers" or something. No prophecies about the death of the king by no man's hand or some such
Some very pretty armour, although who on earth goes jousting with an open neck helmet? Nearly as bad as A Knight's Tale!
Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. I may even get off my arse and read the books!
